Welcome! 

We hope this is your first step toward coming to either Rouzie’s Chapel or Beaverdam UMC.  We have been around quite a while and still are living out the great commission that Jesus gave us in Matthew’s Gospel –  “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”

This is what we do, and we love it!  I enjoy being the pastor here for several reasons:  I love sharing Jesus Christ with others and helping them to know Jesus better. I love that our church family challenges me in my faith and allows me to challenge them in theirs too.  Last, but far from least, I love having the opportunity to welcome new people to God’s church.

So if you are looking for a new church home, then we hope you’ll come to one of the United Methodist Churches of the Western Hanover Charge. If you’ve been away from church for a while, come home. If you’re wondering what the Christian faith is all about and just want a chance to try church, then come join us as we figure it all together.
